Ethiopian cabbage is a brassica that works great in grazing or as part of a cover crop mix. The leaves very palatable. Its great tap root that has many branch roots and can break up hardpan. Excellent nutrient scavenging and fertility building. It is not likely to overwinter in the Midwest, but Ethiopian cabbage seed possibly may survive milder winters further south.
